Vulkan Missing After Oreo Update?

Hi, I've updated my XA1 device recently to the Android Oreo update and I have noticed that applications no longer detect the Vulkan API when playing games even though the GPU itself is supported. This is upsetting as the games that do support it now run at a degraded speed. Trying game mode only makes my device significantly hotter and more power consuming.

I just noticed this too! Not only is Bluetooth not working as it should but we've also lost Vulkan support. This is appalling, especially seeing as we can't roll back to Nougat. Sony need all the loyal customers it can get and they've just lost another.
