Sony Walkman NW-A865 Question.

Hi everyone. This Walkman is in Japanese so i do have trouble navigating menus etc.I have more or less learned how to operate it.My question is, there is an icon of some description flashing next to the battery condition icon whether the battery is fully charged or not.I want to turn this off. Can anyone enlighten me as to what this icon is and how to turn it off.I have included a photo...I apologise for the quality.The icon with the arrow is the one i am asking about.Thanks..

There's a list of screen icons in the English user guide here. Unfortunately, I can't immediately see the icon you mention but if you click through the links on that page you may find more detailed information that helps. There are also some other manuals on the support site here.

The Japanese version of NW-A685 has video outpout throught the WM connector. The icon means that that feature is enable.

To desable it...you should ask a japanese friend (if you have one) to help you out to do that.
