Battery Drained

Hi, i recieved my WH-1000mx3 today and fully charged it. After upgrading the firmware from v2 to v4.1 it took around 30 mins like it said but it completely drained the battery to less then 10% in the process. Is that normal or is there a problem with the battery? Thanks for any help.

Hi Daniel2019,

Do you mean that the remaining battery became less than 10% in the process of charging? If that's the case, I don't believe that this is normal.

You can reset the headset to the default settings as described in the User Manual here: https://bit.ly/2Drl51b. Let us know if this improves the situation

I had exactly the same experience.

Battery was full before the update to 4.1.1. After the batterry was completely empty !

I have two Sony wh-1000xm3. Both the same experience: empty!

Very strange!

After updating to 4.1.1 I've noticed that my battery is draining faster too. After 5 hours (since a full charge) of use I'm on 60%, whereas prior to updating I'd be 80% plus.
