topic WF-1000X Malfunctioning in Portable Audio

Hi guys,

So, I got my WF-1000X few days ago. Used them for like a week. Now, only the left one is working - and not even properly.

When I take both earbuds out of charging case, this happens:

Left one: says "Power.. Beep.. Power off.. Bluetooth pairing.." and then proceeds to connect to my phone and works normally.

Right one: gives three blue blinks (short - short - long) and then keeps flashing red (nothing about that in manuals.. thank You Sony).

When I tried to update firmware (now it`s on 1.0.7) through my Android phone, it completes to 100% and then says "Software update failed".

I originally wanted AirPods. But after years with unbeatable MDR bluetooth headset (and Bravia, Playstation and Aplha cameras as well) I decided to buy WF-1000X. Now, few days into "using" it, seeing commercials for new black AirPods, I regret buying Sony.
