I wasn't to worried about headphones, I was thinking more of home receiver use. I have a Denon receiver and book shelf Polk's. I have mostly flac files, I do have some hi res flac too.... Studio sounds like it's a little punchier but something else i can't put my finger on. Relax I haven't tried.

Hi...ive been playing around with this setting and the one I found the best sounding is the Studio.

Anyone using these for home audio not headphones?

Any ideas or suggestions appreciated.

Thanks

I also have the Sony NW45 with a pair of Sony WH-H900N wireless headset and use the Studio or Relax setting for headphones and Home Audio.

To be honest, I've only had mine for a month, so I'm still kind of in the process of experimenting, though I'm sure I don't hear much change with the other settings at all Unless I'm using HR-24Bit Flac files, anything less just Isn't worth the trouble, MP3 sounds flat compared to the above format.

What format are you playing?

Hello

This is the kind of question that I always think doesn't really have an answer in most cases. Simply because it's subjective and depends on several variables (File format, speakers, connection type, and most importantly, the listener).

So what may sound good to one person doesn't necessarily mean that it should sound as good to another.

The way I usually choose between presets is by selecting a track that I know very well, then I play it on each of the presets until I find the one I personally like the most. (Keep in mind that different genres may not be "enhanced" in the same way when using the same preset, so try choosing a track that more or less represents the average sound of music you listen to daily)

Win_88
