WH-1000XM3 Bluetooth security issue? - Always discoverable

Hello,

Description of the issue:

While listening to music on my WH-1000XM3 conntected to my iPhone with bluetooth, the WH-1000XM3 is discoverable (LE_WH-1000XM3) over bluetooth even when it is not in paring mode.

This means that I was able to pair my WH-1000XM3 with my PC while listening to music on my iPhone - without entering pair mode.

I don't suppose this is normal behaviour, or? Since this means that any person within range can connect to the WH-1000XM3 at any time when it is in normal operational mode.

It seems that the headset can be paired with multiple devices. You can review the functions in the manual here.

Hello Ed,.

I know it can be paired with multiple devices (up to 8).

My point it is that the headset can be paired with a devices when the headset isn't in pairing mode.

In reality it means that anyone within range can pair my headset with their device, without my knowledge.

I don't suppose this is an intended behavior.
