Firmware updates

I have an XAV-AX3005DB 7" touch screen av receiver for my car, the system is amazing but there must be an easier way to update firmware rather than messing about having to us a computer to download it onto a USB flash drive.

Like many people I bet less and less people have PC's and laptops now as it's all tablets and phones mainly now.

why can't we download onto our phones that'll simples.

Unfortunately this update is only possible by connecting a USB storage device to your PC. You can see more details here.
