DSX-A416BT Firmware Update Problem

I'm after fitting my DSX-A416BT car stereo and it's on firmware M 10 /S 34. I want to update to M 12 / S 34 so I downloaded and unzipped the file to the root of my 4GB USB drive. My problem is that the instructions on the firmware download page says

"Copy the "DSX-A416BT_M12S34.U88" file and "DSX-A416BT_DSP_M12S34.up6" file under the root directory of the USB device...".

I've unzipped the file and there is only one file - there is no "DSX-A416BT_DSP_M12S34.up6" file.

That's weird! Have you tried a different PC or browser? Just to make sure that the PC doesn't block the download.

After a bit of investigation I saw that DSX-415BT firmware is available for download from the US site and it does indeed contain two files - a .up6 and a .u88.

I've tried a different browser and a different PC for the DSX-416BT download available from the UK site and it only contains one file..

I've updated the device with the .u88 file without error/issue.

Hey. How did you fixed it? I have the same issue. I copied the .u88 file into my 8GB USB root, but when I try to update my radio, then I get a message like UPDATE ERROR.

I updated using a 4GB stick formatted fat32
