Hi,

I have a FS215b and I am encountering pointer problems. At times it slows right down and sometimes doesn't even move in the direction I want it to go or stops temporarily. This is very annoying.
Secondly, when I am say on ebay clicking to the next page, suddenly the page i'm on clicks backwards 2 or 3 pages when my fingers aren't anywhere near the keyboard.
has any1 got any ideas of what the problems are?

Check in Device Manager that your touchpad is recognised as an Alps pointing device. Under Mice and other pointing devices make sure that an Alps pointing device is listed, if you have a PS/2 compatible mouse listed then you don’t have the correct drivers installed.
If this is the case look in C:\Drivers\Pointing (download the original drivers package from Vaio-Link if there is no such directory) for the correct driver.
