    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi Ref your slow machine, im not sure if this will help you or even if you have this program on your system..VA10 launcher. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;its that big task bar provided by Sony for quick and easy access to your pics, music, video, ect. i had it on my lappy FS115S and it slowed it right down on startup so i disabled it in msconfig.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;it starts alot quicker now. also take alook at other program in there while your at it you dont need everything in there to start up at startup. hope this has been of help to you..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;hey.&lt;BR /&gt;my vaio VGN-A laptop is pretty damn fine, except for the fact that it works quite slowly.&lt;BR /&gt;I already checked my hard disk for defragmentation and cut my norton anti virus not to kill RAM by checking all the time.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;does anybody else has problems like this?&lt;BR /&gt;slowly window building up...&lt;BR /&gt;slowly opening of files&lt;BR /&gt;especially problems with graphics ....&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have the feeling, my vaio is considering what to do .... thinking thinking thinking, calculating ........&lt;BR /&gt;it's annoying .....&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;RAM can always help but i think the problem with these laptops (speaking out of personal experience since i have one myself) is the slow hard drive. 4200rpm is just too slow. luckily if interested there are some new 7200rpm slim drives coming out by Hitachi and Seagate that could really make a difference but they will cost somewhere around £150GBP...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
