A497XP creating recovery disks problem

Hello all

I just bought a A497XP a couple of days ago and i cant sort the recovery disks. It asks for 2 DVDR's or 11 CD's. I tried about 5 different DVDR's (different brands) and i always get an error wich tells me to destroy the DVDR and restart again. Even tried with DVDRW but tells me format aint supported. I aint very fond on creating 11 CD's and especially _a couple of copies_ . Any one else got same thing or is just mine? Would it be a problem with recovery software or the disks?

You say that you have tried different media but are you using `+¿ or `-` DVD ¿R disks ¿ have you tried both, assuming that your system supports both?

Also you can only use R type media not RW

System supports both + and - so that shouldnt be a problem, altho i tried with both formats with same result. As for RW format i found out when i got the "Not supported" message but thought i should give it a try since i cant figure out whats wrong. Also maybe i should mention that device is working ok on writing both CD's and DVD's. Tried doing it with CDR's to see if it works that way and seems ok, wrote a couple of CD's but run out of them so i stopped it. Seems the problem is only with DVD's.

As I said just use +R or -R

Is there a link for that Kee-Lo? It is not there on the drivers page for this model.

The only update i found is the firmware wich i already updated. Any more ideas?
