Hi,

This GRT716S has a few light scratches that, while the screen is dark are invisible but when there's a lot of light behind them they show up.

Has anyone discovered a safe method for removing them?

My thoughts are T-CUT (the stuff used to restore shine to car paintwork). For anyone who doesn't know what T-CUT is, its a colourless very fine polish...

Comments appreciated.

Neildo.

T-Cut is a compound abrasive that will leave thousands and thousands of little scratches on the screen. You could end up with a nice milky white screen.

Toothpaste might work but personally I don't think either one is worth the risk of trying.

Then again, if you're faced with having to get a new screen anyway why not give it a try as you've got nothing to lose.

That way we'd all know whether or not it works:smileywink:
