ATI2DVAG Driver not working properyl

Hi all,

Had a gr214mp since new & has been fine, but installed XP SP2 a fw weeks ago and since then occaisonally I get the above error along with the display reverting to 640x480 in 2 bit colour.

Anyone have the same problem or suggest a solution, many thanks.

Try the latest driver from www.vaio-link.com

Thanks for the reply, unfortunetly there are no jupdated drivers (I can find) on the site or on the MS or ATI sites.

Strange thing is it only seems to happen when we are surfing though it is not our connection that is the problem. I'm thinking that maybe the SP2 FW is causing a problem, I'll disable it when i get home from work.

Other than that it looks like a full re-install unless I can find maybe an updated driver from somewhere.

Have a look in C:\Drivers\ too
