I have a sony Vaio laptop with Windows 8 and Norton 360 which has nearly expired. Is it worth renewing or is Windows 8 Security sufficient? What advice can you give me please.

AVG is very good & free for Anti-virus http://free.avg.com/gb-en/homepage . I'm not so up to speed on how good Win 8 Firewall & security in general is though.

Throw this (Norton, AVG, whatever) away unless you browse some dodgy web sites.

I have just Windows Defender installed on my machines (comes with Windows) and had not encountered any problem at all since then.
