Intel Pentium 4 Socket 478 prescott
quick question.... will the prescott cpu 3.2 - 3.4 ghz work on the
sony rs402???? or will i need northwood core cpu
any help most appreciated

I think it's a Prescott, so I would stick with that.
Apparently they're better than Northwood anyway.

so if i go for a prescott wot ghz will it take im thinking of getting 3.4.... will it be Compatible with the rs series, or will i hav to stick with a 3.2

Prescott goes to 3.6 now.
Not sure if it's the same FSB or form. You would have to verify this before purchasing.

i am aware that prescott are new form now they use different socket set so in turn there are 2 prescotts out the old prescott only goes up 2 3.6 new ones are 3.8. but if thats the case then 3.4 should be fine!!!!
