    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Cheers buddy.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;When U say locked to BIOS settings and memory timings what do you mean?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Am I correct in understanding that I would not be able to use something like say for example PC2700 memory or anything higher than PC3200 memory???&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Cheers in advance.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <title>Simple memory upgrade question</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have the following machine:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SONY PCV-RS402&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;From what I can tell by looking at the outer casing it appears to have 400Mhz DIMM DDR RAM inside.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Ive just been to PCWorld and purchased a stick of DDR RAM with following spec:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;512MB DDR PC3200&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;184 PIN 400Mhz DIMM&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Simple question - Will this be ok for my PC?&lt;STRONG&gt;512MB DDR PC3200&lt;/STRONG&gt; &lt;STRONG&gt;184 PIN 400Mhz DIMM&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
