Power control options

Hi, I have a Vaio VGN-FW51MF. When I close the lcd and it goes to sleep or when the computer after stipulated time goes to sleep. When I open the lcd, the Windows 7 starts but almost immediately the screen went to blue and a couples of options, such as “Safe mode”, “Start Windows Normally” appears on the screen.

This unwanted behavior started just suddenly. I have tried everything using the Vaio Control Center. It seems that the Windows 7 does not work with Vaio hardware any longer. Have anyone any idea?

Unfortunately, sleep mode problems have been a persistent problem of Windows 7.

Have you installed all the available updates for your model here: -

There is some suggestions from Sony here - but they don't look to hopeful: -

Hi Blencogo, thanks for taking the time, but I have all those updates. It seems to be a “small” problem because I have even tried to wind it back, but no improvement.
