    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;Have a look in Vaio Control Centre at the Touchpad settings.&amp;nbsp; Try disabling some of the more exotic touchpad functions if you don't use them.&amp;nbsp; You can find out what these functions like 'pinch' do from your User Guide.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;You can try reinstalling the touchpad driver and see if that helps but I am aware of several long standing 'resume from sleep' issues with Windows 7 still awaiting a fix.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;img class="lia-deferred-image lia-image-emoji" src="https://community.sony.pt/html/@13A2E6A3774A8B47B4EC6F04089539E1/images/smilies/063.png" alt=":thinking:" title=":thinking:" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have an E Series Vaio laptop.&amp;nbsp; On a few occasions, after "sleep" mode the touch pad pointer has become uncontrolable.&amp;nbsp; Has anyone encountered a similar problem?&amp;nbsp; I would much appreciate any advice.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
