Hi - dim i know - but can anyone tell me how to access/use the inbuilt motion eye camera on my vaio?

Hi angelfish and welcome to Club Vaio.

It depends what model Vaio you have and if you are using XP or Vista. Also some of the newer models are different.

Give us your model number and someone will help.

What do you want to use the camera with?

Turning your Vaio on activates the camera. You need to register the camera in the setup of your IM program or with Skype.

You can capture stills or video from the camera using the webcam software - I think your model has Arcsoft Webcam Companion installed. Open this from the all programs search and the camera should work on-screen.
