BDP-S3100 accessing the Internet with Virgin Media

I was struggling to get my out the box BDP-S3100 to work with my Virgin Media SuperHub2. It only offered WEP which I didn't want to use, or WPS where you push the button on the Superhub and have it auto connect. For some reason this failed every time. In the end I downloaded the firmware update (M14.R.0153) as the one which it came with was M14.R.0093. When I completed the update (via a DVD I burned), the bluray now offered WPA security which worked fine. Looks like the older firmware only supported the WEP standard. Thankfully it is now all working fine (not sure why the WPS button didn't work with Virgin mind you).
