Bravia Sync between PS5 and Bravia TV via AVR

Hi,

I have upgraded my Home Cinema Receiver and now have my PS5 and TV tuner connected directly to the Receiver.

And then connected the Receiver to my Sony TV . Everything is synced and working apart from one thing. 

Before upgrading my Receiver, the PS5 was connected directly to my TV, and I could use the Sony TV remote to control the PS5, when watching films and programmes.  Now it doesn't work. 

First of all, can I check that I should be able to control the PS5 with my Sony TV remote?

Secondly, in the picture from the Bravia Sync settings on the TV, should the AVR have "CONNECTED" against it? I can't find definitevely if this should or shouldn't say connected. 

Thirdly, what else do I need to check?
