Sony bravia and youview app

I have a bravia fully connected to the internet and can use iplayer for example. However some apps like itv x try and connect via youview. 

I have no cable or satellite,  WiFi only.

The youview app does not provide options to tune calls via WiFi. 

How can I get youview setup so its x works via yoyview OR configure the itv x app to use WiFi and bypass youview all together.

Both apps are built in to the TV and all software and apps are up to date.

Hi @Taunta63   Sony Bravia is just a generic term for all types of Sony TV. To try and help you with your problem we need the full model number, it should start with KD, XR or K.

As you are probably aware, your TV model is now over 10 years old with the last update in 2021 which was the final release. Apps like ITVX evolve quite quickly with regular updates and require more up to date hardware.

By far the best solution would be to add a streaming stick like Fire TV or Roku then you have the latest Apps on the latest hardware and still use the TV.
