Whenever i play a youtube vid recently im finding it is playing in a low resolution.
When i go to the settings in the app, 720 and 1080 are usually available but the vid is
highlighted as playing in a low res., even if 'Auto' is selected.
As soon as i manually select a higher res it plays fine.
Is this a known bug?

Right I have realised it plays the video when current/optimal Res is 2560x1440@60 / 3840x2160@60.
As soon as it changes to
3840/2160@60 / 3840/2160@60.
My screen goes black but sound continues?

Your internet bandwidth is not enough to play the video at 2160p60. Calculated bandwidth is ~31.6mbps. Required bandwidth for your particular video would be 32mbps.

Might not always be the ISP. Can also be slow YouTube servers maybe? Or maybe your Wi-Fi? Dunno. For that video you should at least have 35mbps (see 'Connection Speed' in the nerd stats) or the YouTube app will probably not switch to 2160p.
