Why has 2 Step Verification and Passwords been disabled on my Sony account?

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knows why my Sony account has just deactivated my password and 2 Step Verification? All I did was sign into my account and then I was sent a text message saying that my 2 Step Verification was disabled.

Below I have attached screenshots of the text message and the settings screen when I try to reset my verification and password. The edit button for both have been grayed out, so I am unable to change their status.

If anyone could help me fix it so that I can readd this verification method, that would be great.
