How do you make a _ with the X8 Keyboard

I am trying to log on to my Gmail account with my new X8 phone and was wondering if there is any way to make the "_" with the keyboard on the X8?

Yes (assuming yours is the same as mine).  From the alphabetical keyboard, press the second button from the left with 12!? and a smley face on it.  That takes you to the numerical keyboard.  Then, from there, press the button with 1I2 (far left, second from bottom) and you are taken to a screen with various symbols.  The _ is on the top row, second from left, between # and \.
