Regarding HDD recording

Hello there,

I have a W6 model that supports HDD recording and I have a question.

I own a 500 GB external HDD but I have some files in there that I don't want to lose and I want to still use the HDD for media playback on the TV.

So my question is: is it possible to repartition the drive so that the unpartitioned space remaining can be used by the tv for video recording?

Hi Dione7624, No I am pretty sure you can not use a partioned external HDD on your Bravia
