i recieved this sound bar for chrismas from work for my chrismas gift and i would like to no how to connect it to my tv the make of my tv is a alba

Hi there

Without knowing the connections at the back of your TV, its hard to advise.  However you would normally connect an optical cable from the TV's Optical OUT to the Optical IN port of the soundbar.
