Hello,
I have a VPCEC1M1E and when I plug the HDMI cable into the laptop it halts my network connection. I can be browsing happily and if I plug in the HDMI (or even the VGA) cable then my ethernet freezes. When I disconnect the cable then everything works fine again.
This occurs whether or not I am connected via WIFI or 10bT.
My VAIO is current (at least according to VAIO update).
Update -
After a bit more testing it gets even stranger. The issue isn't that the ethernet freezes it is that my internal routing crashes. I can access local ip addresses but I cannot access any sites outsize my local intranet. The minute I unplug the HDMI cable the routing works fine again.
Any ideas?
