help with camera connection

Hi all
first time on ' i'm having probs getting pics on my vaio . i connect to usb port on docking port and then to camera but it says cant find camera but cable works fine anyone have any advice pleaseeeeee. thanks

What camera do you plug to the Vaio Pocket ?

Not all cameras are able to connect directly to the Vaio Pocket.

I'm afraid I can't help - mine just worked, at least it used to, but now mine has developed this problem too.

Originally I WAS able to copy photos from my camera (a sony DSC-P150) but it has now stopped recognising my camera, and I can't work out how to fix it!

The last time I was able to copy I used a different memory card to the one I usually use, but I can't see why that would have broken anything, and nothing else has changed..

Does anyone have any ideas?

My problem has been solved by doing a "hard reset" on the vaio.

I did this after a call to the Sony helpdesk.

Thanks for the tip, WhiteRider. Yes, your problem was especially surprising since you were using a Sony digi-cam....

Let's wait for nips' digi-cam brand and make then. 🙂
