I'm having problems copying some video footage I took myself of some trees onto DVD can ayone help?
thats a bit harsh TT, I know in my case I own every original I have a back up for.. I think if I sent an original disney dvd back to play(top site by the way) asking them for a replacement as one of my kids had got hold of it id be laughed at..
probably your alot more well of than me and can afford 10 monsters inc.. or you keep your kids dvds locked out of kids reach thus taking the fun out of choosing a film..
for me TT you have hit a nerve and I dont care for it too much..
Hmm I can understand GK why you're a bit annoyed.
It's not cheap to have kids, and they do like to fiddle to say the least, so I can understand why you make copies of discs you paid a lot for already (Disney is not cheap anywhere).
Chill guitaro, if you read my post again you will notice I was criticising piracy, not people making backups of their own stuff. And backups had inverted commas around it, that means I wasn't serious
The problem is the laws of this country don't allow it either, only in the US you can do it.
Not being allowed to make backups of stuff you have paid for is just odd. By the way kee-lo.info is just an awesome name lol love the rhyming slant.
Okay TT....no worries
You can make a back up of a disc if you own the original, or liscense... how expensive is photoshop, ruin the disc, then what do you do, you have to prove your liscense to adobe, pay them to send you a replacement disc, chuff that.....
your fave cds for the car, backed up, originals safe and sound in home(dont tell me to get an ipod, i love cds).
to not back up you faves, be it dvds, cds or software is foolish if you have the ways and means to do it....
I totally agree GK.
Tyger : thanks - I got the domain for free so I just built something simple for now.
Now you've got me scared
Erm, best keeping that to yourself...
Lol well quite. I don't think downloading it so you don't have to buy a different kind of media is going to impress too many executive fatcats.
