Quick Web Access software for VPCEBS10E

The HD has crashed and I've replaced it with an SSD.

Sony refuse to point me in the direction of (or send me), the Quick Web Access Software - for 'Piracy reasons'. My understanding is that Quick Web Access is Splashtop, which is Linux based, which is Open Source.

No recovery partition as this was on the old (now dead) HD.

Great laptop - poor customer service.

Can anyone help out?

Hi mikes01666,

Not sure whether this will work but the link is for the original install of the splashtop browser on a VPCEL series. The install blurb does say that VPC range is supported - try at your own risk but I guess you have nothing to lose.
