I have the vaio model "VGN-FE31H" and I installed the windows 7 Ultimate. I can't increace or decrease the brightness via fn+F5/F6. When I press the fn and " P " it prints " * " and not " P ". fn function seems to work but I can't control the brightness. Also, I installed these drivers for vista that I found at the below link but nothing changed.
Download and install: Vaio Event service
Restart your PC.
Download and install: Setting Utility Series
Restart your PC.
Download and install: Sony Shared Library
Restart your PC.
Download and install: nVidia Video Driver - 7.15.10.9813
Restart your PC.
