I've had this laptop for about 2 years now and I have had a few problems with it but they have been resolvable (annoying, but resolvable). However, there is one issue that keeps popping up and I don't know how to fix it.
I am having trouble connecting to wi-fi when there is one other computer also connected to the network as well. Specifically, when my dad's laptop is connected to the network, I lose my connection completely and it says that it's a problem with the router but no one else in the house (that's 4 other people) have problems connecting. If my dad's laptop isn't connected there is no problem (even when everyone else is also using the internet). I have brought the laptop to a SONY support centre where they have rebooted to factory settings twice without any results.
Does anyone have any suggestions about what I can do to resolve this? It's quite frustrating 😞

Hey there,
I had a number of problems connecting wirelessly. These fixes helped me. Your problem sounds different to simply one of connecting, but just wanted to point you towards this page: http://www.sony.co.uk/support/en/product/SVF1521N1EW/tips-and-solutions

This is a fairly late response, but thanks for the link! I will have a look at it and hopefully it will solve my problem.
