pc companion tells me there is a new update  14.3.A.0.757

my current phone 

android 4.3

build number 14.2.a.0.290

so what am asking is do i need to insall this new update or not?

also when is the kit kat coming .

This is KitKat, and that the latest update that fixed many bugs.

But left few open, especially with bluetooth. If possible I would wait a month or two.

This fix only the sound error, these others bugs do not corrects and are very important:
- Camera stops the phone
- To stop the camera, facial affect recognition.
- Photo contact shortcut "direct dialing", don't display photo contact, only default photo profile display
- Phone reboots
- Phone overheats
- Etc.

757 The update appeared to me in PCC on 10 late .


If you have solved the annoying sound bug , but for a phone that is hovering 600 € expecting much more .

. 1 - Battery , formerly with JB -intensive and lasted me about 20h. now with Kit Kat does not reach 11.

. 2 - The mobile gets hotter than before.

. 3 - As I write these lines I see a slow and inaccurate flow , delays in writing and others.

. 4 - In games with great graphics demand as Unpaved 8 there disfluencies stoppages and a clear deterioration from the previous version .

5 - . 've Experienced two system crashes and I have had to use the emergency shutdown button , has passed me without having a large active application demand.

6 - . Whether you listen to music with the Walkman application or Google play music , going to the standby screen the music widget does not appear and instead the widgets that appear are locked , you can not interact with them , it is as if wanting to show music widget and did not fail to do so the other widgets.

. 7 - The photos are still not spectacular for the fanfare that have given to the "best camera installed in a mobile world .

same here... battery drains alot and overheating by NOT playing any games. Sony have to do something... **bleep** it :'(

Which app is causing overheating? Mine has a shorter battery life (about 10 - 15% than on 4.3) but not overheating at all (as long as I avoid pairing with Toyota Touch & Go HF set - sth is broken in 4.4).
