Xperia 1: The Pixel Count is Missing
I noticed that the Pixel Count is missing in the Camera App.
Usually, it's written as Aspect:Ratio (Pixel Count MP) i.e. 4:3 (17MP)
I went back to my Xperia XZ2 Premium and the updated made it disappear too! I remember just last week I notably checked how many MP was my selfie camera can produce. 9,10,13megapixel selfie. When I check now, that MP information is gone.
A bit of inconsistency on Sony's part. While shooting, I'd like the information back, so I know which camera sensor I'm using.
- Or are your taking it out because the sensor now varies because when you start to zoom it changes the sensor? Averaging of the 3 rear sensors.
- Yet, when the photo is taken, there is still a stamped MP number.

Wrong part of the UI.
The new camera since XZ2 I believe has a quick switch for you to switch between the aspect ratios.
Resolution can still be selected in settings.

Awwhaa I see what you mean! I found it, but isn't it a bit inconsistent?
