@marcobremb schrieb:Firmware version is the old one. They suggested me to wait for the automatic rollout via OTA... but it shouldn't happen even via USB.
Some TVs actually got bricket by the OTA in the same way if I understood correctly...

Cause I am crazy enough and I love risks... I have done firmware update via USB right now.
Worked perfectly. So it's only bad luck...

Esattamente ahahahah
BTW, I am really really surprised by the fast repairing. Here in Italy, normally, you have to wait at least 7 working days... here they've done it in 1 day

The local service in Thessaloniki told me that the mainboard was ordered yesterday from Sony Europe Warehouse in Belgium and it is supposed to be sent via airpriority, that's why I will have my TV back on Thursday (Friday?).
In your case maybe the mainboard was in stock at you local service.
Edit:

I am suspecting defective boards, not just bad luck. Unless you mean bad luck in selecting one of the defective ones.

Were your settings wiped when they changed the board?

Yes. They only did a DTT search...
At home I have resetted the TV after the update. Now it's all ok... SAT, DTT, Netflix, Amazon, SkyQ

I am sorry for the delay to report.
The TV is back since yesterday and A-OK.
The fact is that the mainboards come blank in the service centers and the FW is installed there.
The guy in the local service told me that the directive from Sony Hellas was to install the v6.2858.
According to him he has not officially received the latest v6.5603 from Sony (?).
I pursued Sony concerning this (their inconsistency between making the FW available for downloading and advising to wait for OTA) via mail and phone but their response was "wait for it through OTA".
I have just set the TV as it was prior to the bricking and I am in no mood to experiment for now.
But who knows about tomorrow?
