ARC communication message on KD9305

HI!, communication error message on TV and now Sony ht ct 390 will not work on Bravia sync. HDMI in arc as should be ,tried different cable , reset sounbar and set up correctly. Done soft reset on tv but not sorted. Sound bar works through optical cable.  Tried everything on tv settings . Any help appreciated
