KDL-50W809C will not connect to WiFi

OK, I am now going crazy with my TV. Until the last few weeks I've not had this problem. Despite acknowledging my WiFi router being present, the TV insists the password is wrong. It is not. It won't even connect using the wps button. I cannot access any Internet services. This so frustrating. What is going on, how can I get connected again? Sometimes the symbol looks connecting but then the '?' symbol appears. This is driving me insane. I am sick of trying to connect. My sky q box connects to the Internet with no problem. The problem is the tv and I don't know how to fix it. Can anyone help me please?

Thanks for the reply. I became too impatient and got out the drill and put a hole through the ceiling and fed an ethernet cable from the router into the back of the TV. My smart TV won't do this to me again LOL

Just try to reset it by unplugging the TV from the power with anything connected then plug it back after a few mins and test again.

Hi, I tried the unplugging completely for a minute or two but things still didn't work. Maybe a complete reset of the TV would have done the trick but I didn't want to lose all my apps, and then have to re-download things again. An ethernet cable has side stepped my problem.

You can try different internet connection other than the one you're connecting to just to test. If it connects, then try again your WiFi connection.
