Sony Bravia A8 and B&O don't automatically connect/no sound

Hello Sony community and Happy New Year everyone!

I've recently bough the B&O Beosound Stage and Sony Bravia A8 (2020 version), but having some trouble getting them work together, particurlarly since I've switched on the eARC mode on in order to get Dolby Atmos.

Just yesterday I was playing a movie on Netflix with Dolby Atmos as shown on B&O app's source section and everything was working fine. But today when I switched on the TV, there's no sound coming to the soundbar. Even when I switched on the TV, the soundbar didn't switch on together (despite the sync settings below). When I check on TV, it recognises the external devise and shows that B&O Stage is connected to HDMI 3/eARC. Even when I manually switch on the soundbar and the app shows 'playing from TV', there' still no sound.

It's only when I play with the TV settings a few times (mostly switching on/off eARC or selecting a different Digital audio out option and then switching back to Auto 1) when I hear the sound coming through the soundbar again. And I have to do this multiple times a day.

It's really frustrating as I'm not able to spot any pattern here - what worked yesterday, doesn't work today, and it works again after switching something off and then back on in the settings.

Would be great if anyone could share their thoughts on this which would be very much appreciated. Thank you!

Maybe try clearing the cached data (Settings - Device Preferences - Storage - Internal Shared Storage - Cached data) and make sure you have the latest software version installed on your TV.
