Sony Bravia kd 55x8509c

Hi all 
I have a Sony Bravia 4 k tv that cost a lot of money and is just out of warranty surprising ?
Once i turn it on - the Light flashes 6 times - then turns off - no picture. - tried unplugging , holding the buttons in but did not work . Can you tell me how much to fix this issue please and what is the issue ?
The Tv details are as follows Sony Bravia tv - 55 inch 4k KD 55X8509C S/N 6811309 P/N 18706601

Any help would be great

Hi @jjleonard 

I’m sorry but this is a community of customers so your best course of action is to contact Sony Customer Support for your Country or Region. As it is out of warranty then your options are limited. The chances are the power board is faulty and may cost more to repair than to buy a new modern TV. However only Sony will be able to tell you.

Hi jjleonard, make sure that you try the force reset specifically as described here and that you get the green light: https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/support/articles/00159906

Usually 6 times red means the screen is faulty. I don't think this is repairable. Where are you based anyway?
