If I run the battery on my Experia E1 down to Zero and plug it in to recharge the phone will not power up for about 20 minutes. During this time the charging current is only 0.1 amps but after 20 minutes it finally kicks in at about 0.8 amps then I can use it.
Is this normal for this phone or is the power circuit or battery defective? It is less then a month old.
My last phone would let me make calls almost immediatly off the external power.
It would be nice to have a phone available for immediate emergency use when I got to my car or charging station.

if the battery completely runs out, then yes this is normal. The handset will not turn on for atleast 20 minutes of solid charge.
I hope this helps.

I am not happy with this operation but I have learned to accept that newer does not always mean better.
