Hi everybody !
I have a problem with my sony xperia E1 (D2005). The lcd screen is broken, an it's too expensive to repair (compared to the phone's price...)
Do you think it is possible/easy to change it by myself (by buying a new lcd screen) ? or maybe is it a bad idea ?
Thank you

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.
I would not suggest that you replace the screen on your own since this will void your warranty. And if you are not sure how to do it, it may cause more harm to the device than it was before and in worst scenario, it might not power on again if you do something wrong.

Ok, so there is no solution.
Do you know if a goodwill gesture is possible from sony ? Is it possible that Sony replace my phone ? I've never had problem with my phone, and the warranty is still available... I know it is only a dream, but it happens sometimes...
You will have to contact Sony directly, your local Xperia Care
hi,
what do you risk?????
your phone is KO, so if you find a screen for a good price, try yourself....
broken or totaly broken what's the difference?????
IN this context.... I was very lucky ... yesterday my E1 was dropped accidently from the 1st flor of my bank on to concrete floor. Except for a broken back cover and dislodged battery... every thing was fine after i put back the battery and restarted it!!!! Phew.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
