Hi
My Sony Xperia E dual refuses to let me install applications onto the internal storage. If I go into Settings and then into Storage, it shows me three storage slots available namely: Phone memory, Internal storage and SD card. When I download an app, it would store it on the Phone memory (which has about 500 megs of space). Recently, I got a constant notification telling me that my phone was "Low on space" which doesn't make sense. Yes, the "Phone memory" is full but the "Internal storage" has 2 gigs of free space. Is there no way to force my phone to use only the "Internal storage" instead of the "phone memory"?
Kind Regards

Newer Xperias have only internal memory and micro SD (external).Older Xperias had phone memory and internal memory(some didn't have micro SD).
You can move files to SD (media) and apps to internal memory to free up phone memory.
I've heard that you can move apps onto the SD card but it doesn't give me the option, even after updating from Ice Cream Sandwich to Jelly Bean. The Xperia E dual is the only phone in their entire range that doesn't give you the option to move to SD. I have moved the majority of my apps (the ones that can be moved anyway) to the internal storage but it still says I'm low on space. Why is it that my phone has made 2 partitions of the internal memory (called "Phone memory" and "Internal storage") yet every other Xperia smartphone only has "Internal storage" and "SD card" as storage options when you go to settings > storage?

Still doesn't help solve my problem but thanks anyway
Guess the only real way to solve this would be to buy a decent Xperia smartphone like the Xperia Z.
Thanks for the help
Anytime.
I don't think SONY will ever patch this. They have forgotten about those who bought their older smartphones. I've just been forced to never update any of the Google apps and if I download any other apps, I have to go to Setting > Apps and move it over to the Internal Storage. Would be great if they did patch it but the Xperia E dual isn't even going to get KitKat so I doubt it will ever get patched.
Sorry
