DVD drawer wont open on DVP-SR150 player

As the title suggests, I can't get the drawer to open.  The child lock isn't on.  It makes a noise like it's thinking about opening and the display says 'opening', then it gives up and says 'closing'.  Any ideas?

Try unplugging it from the mains power for 5 min or so, then power it up and try again.

If that doesnt work, press the 'open' button and push the drawer closed at the same time.

Problem solved.  I just poked around the opening of the drawer, with a pin.  It seemed to be physically stuck at one end and I heard it free-up as I poked.  Tried again and it worked.  I blame my 2-year old son, who stands on it to reach the buttons on the tv!
