Sony RDR-GX350 DVD Recorder

I can record discs and play them back on my GX350 but they wont play back on my portable or on any other DVD player, I get the message BAD DISK displayed, Can anyone help ?

Im using Tesco DVD+R Discs.

Hello,

I too have copied a program from a Sky+ HD box where I featured on a quiz show onto a Verbatim DVD-R disc to keep and can only re-watch the DVD on the GX350 I bought for the job. When I try the disc an Xbox or the external hard drive I purchased to try and get a digital copy, the disc is not recognised.

Wondering if you found a resolution to the same issue?

Hi @ainsleyk Some devices may not support certain formats or types of recordable discs. Check if the Xbox or external hard drive supports DVD-R discs. Also, Ensure that the disc has been properly finalized on the RDR-GX350, because unfinalized discs may not be recognized by other devices
