STR DH 820 stuck on ZONE 2

My receiver seems to be constantly dispaying ZONE 2 - even on standby, and since it has it doesnt work as well (Sync etc.)
How can I turn Zone 2 off?

Got it... hold both standby buttons!

holding both standby buttons does not work also my remote does not work and thw amp is stuck on 2channels. I can tell you that I am extreamly upset about this and having owned sony products for over 3o years I dont think I will ever buy another one. How do I fix all these very anoying things as I have been trying now for 2 days
