hi.just purchased kdl-46w905 & having tuned in the freesat i find that it does not display the  full epg menu. the specification list clearly shows epg .i am being told by my dealer that sony do not subscribe to freesat to obtain the full epg .can someone please confirm if this is the case.cheers

My understanding is that as the TV has a satellite tuner then it will pickup free to air sat channels. But as its not Freesat certified or built to their specs it doesn't have the Freesat feature specification like specific catchup and Freesat EPG for example. I don't think its advertised as supporting 'Freesat' in the same way its defintiely advertised as supporting 'Freeview'..
