No EPG on KDL40HX85x

A couple of days ago my Bravia went through an update or upgrade. And now I can't find the EPG.

When I press "Guide" on the remote control, it goes straight in to the favourites screen shown as powered by Gracenotes). I've tried every button push and option available, but no way can I get back to the programme guide.

What do I do?

Odd - have you tried a factory reset? Usually flushes out the gremlins after a firmware update..

Not yet. I'm reluctant to go that route 'cos then I'll lose all my channel and picture settings. Last resort.
