Its hard to advise on the best picture settings, due to the fact that everyones viewing/eye sight is different, as well as room design/lighting etc. What I advise is for you to write down all the settings on a spreadsheet or piece of paper and slowly adjust the settings. This way, you also know which settings do what as well. I did this for my TV (in 2011) and even though it took 2 weeks before I was happy, it was worth the effort.
