I'm looking to puchase a laptop primarily for gaming but am on a tight budget. Ideally I want to keep it under £700. Currently I'm looking at the VAIO Fit 15 with the following spec;
Processor - Intel i5 3337U 1.8Ghz
GPU - Nvidia GeForce GT 735M 2GB
HDD - 500GB Serial ATA
RAM - 8 GB
I was also gonna take the one year McAfee protection and leave the Adobe Photoshop off so it comes to £702
Does anyone have any suggestions for improving it?
Also I recently had to send back a Dell laptop because when I tried playing games on it, I dicovered that steam wouldn't find the dedicated GPU and would only use the integrated. I phoned Dell and they were aware that it was a problem with that model and weren't able to resolve it. Has anyone tried gaming on a VAIO Fit enough to know if I will have similar trouble?
Hi there
The only thing I can suggest, considering a tight budget, is the HDD. I would upgrade that to 750GB or even 1TB. Bearing in mind, some games are absolutely huge now, in regards to storage space.
Cheers
EDIT : Oh..And a Mouse
Also it depends what games you will be playing on it and what quality settings you'll be able to run.
